BPN Is Gone For Politicizing Football Supporters, Touching Jokowi's Camp
JurnalHub. Coordinator of the Spokesperson for the National Winning Body (BPN) presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak stated that he had never intended to politicize soccer fans.
This is related to the claim of the National Campaign Team (TKN), Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin, who said that all bobotoh Persib had expressed their support for pair number 01 in the 2019 Presidential Election.
"Frankly we are not trying to attract them (ball fans) in the political sphere, so it's up to them if there are claims from TKN," Dahnil said in the Meruya, West Jakarta area on Thursday, night.
Dahnil said it only wanted to see and enjoy the enthusiasm of the ball supporters when expressing their support for their favorite soccer team.
"We want football fans to be like the initial enthusiasm, yes to support football," he said.
Dahnil said he would never join in attracting the support attitude of these football lovers. In fact, according to him, the BPN only waited naturally for the support provided by the supporters in person without carrying the frills of the football clubs they supported.
"That is the political attitude of TKN that wants to attract supportive football supporters. We leave the process of the political attitude of the supporters as natural. We are not attractive," he said.
Previously, the vice president Ma'ruf Amin received a gathering of supporters of Persib Bandung at his residence, Menteng, Central Jakarta. At that time, Ma'ruf claimed to be a big fan of Persib or Bobotoh.
On that occasion also, a number of Bobotoh who attended the meeting expressed their support for the pair from candidate number 01 Joko Widodo.
But lately Viking Persib Bandung [VPC] asserted that it was not in favor of one of the presidential and vice presidential pairs in the 2019 Presidential Election.
The VPC management stressed that all Persib supporters had the right to choose according to their wishes.
